Starter/Ranger

Bahle Farms is seeking an outgoing starter/ranger. As the starter, you are greeting each golfer and providing vital information to their golf experience. Knowledge of golf and the course are a must (training will be provided). As a ranger, you will be responsible for maintaining the pace of play and monitoring the golfers on the course.

This is a seasonal position with the season opening April 29th through October 31st and training beginning in late April. 

Essential Responsibilities:

• Greeting golfers at first tee box
• Provide pace of play, course help and guidance
• Keep tee times on schedule
• Maintain pace of play on the course
• Monitor golfers to ensure safety and proper etiquette

Work Hours and Benefits: 

Shifts will be approximately 8:00-4:00pm daily with some weekends and holidays required. All employees receive complimentary golf and 50% off food items. 

Skills Required: 

• Excellent customer service 
• Basic understanding of golf and golf ettiquete
• Basic written and verbal communication skills
• Organization and ability to multitask
• Able to adhere to the instructions of the outside manager and be a team player
• Time management: the ability to prioritize tasks
• Promote and maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Must be able to stand and be mobile for long periods of time and work outside

Experience/Education: 

• No experience required but preferred. Golf experience preferred.
